Circulation Assistant (Part-Time)
We are currently accepting applications for a part-time Circulation Assistant to join our team. We are a busy public library that serves a wide range of people in our community from our downtown location, and the Circulation team is the vital front face of our patron interaction. We do a lot of hard work, but have a lot of fun, too!
The position is for an average of 20 hours per week. Availability to work half days, full days, 2 evenings per week & rotating Saturdays is a must. Additional flexible hours may be available when needed to cover extra busy times during programs or staff absences.
The starting range for this position is $16.50/hr-$18.00/hr, commensurate with experience.
The ideal candidate will have outstanding customer service skills, a can-do attitude, a sense of humor and be an expert multi-tasker. Previous library experience is preferred, though not required. Bonus points if you have experience working with the Minerva-Sierra system!
